Journal 8(1) [Term 1. Week 9]
Money is an issue that most or in fact all is concerned about. Some people are parsimonious. These people are often too restrictive on how they are going to use their money even if they are rich and are often defined as being ‘stingy’. However, there is also another group of people where people are exactly the opposite. Having sumptuous every now and then, buying branded stuff, these are signs of profligate spending to me. These signs are often common among the “upper-class” children as their parents would normally take care of the pecuniary matters. So, is it really true as the Chinese saying that says that money is not everything? Or is it just that money is not everything but it is something that man must have to survive?
